False, it’s actually:
I just wanted to draw the new spycrab but then this happened…
10 things our kids will never understand…
My friend is a primary school teacher and one day a kid bought in a VHS tape for show and tell and was like “this is what they used to watch in the olden days and you can only watch it once” cause he didnt understand that you just have to rewind it hahahahhaha
Not just reading the lyrics in the liner notes, but there not being any lyrics in the liner notes and having to guess when you couldn’t understand the lyrics.
And LimeWire, lawdy. p2p networks in general are gone and I miss that shit. You know what happened on those all the time? Songs would be misattributed to the wrong bands and then you’d be the jackass who thinks Primus did “Detachable Penis”, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy sang “Detroit Swing City”, and Marilyn Manson did a cover of “You Spin Me ‘Round”.
And then LimeWire got full of bullshit and you had to switch to FrostWire, but not enough people were using it yet and you couldn’t find shit until LimeWire finally got so unbearable that everyone finally migrated.
Aww, Blockbuster. I have a few very fond memories of going there as a kid while staying the night with a friend. Parents would drive us over on a Friday night and let us pick out a game to rent, and we’d comb through all of the shitty titles and try to find something new or interesting. Half the time, yeah, they’d be all out of anything good, but sometimes we’d strike gold.
It usually worked out fine, but every now and then we’d argue over what to get. “I don’t want to play Super Wrestlemania! Let’s try this Secret of Mana thing!”
